Chicken dinner

Beer and chipotle infused chicken, beef stock brown rice, corn and home made naan.

We had a couple dear friends of mine over for dinner tonight, I haven’t seen them for about three years.

First course was sashimi, tuna and salmon on a horseradish edamame puree.

The main course was Bo Saam (not pitured) but the highlight of the meal was this amazing salad, pulled from Chang’s cookbook.

Fuji apple in Kim chi with rendered bacon, arugula and maple syrup yogurt. This dish is cussing magical!

Early Friday steak dinner

Bone in, New York marinated in Kim chi and apple. Served with Stir fried pea greens with mushrooms, almonds and lemon zest.

Homemade spaghetti with pomadoro and meatballs.

Teriyaki chicken on a bed of Sambal green beans.

Made at home

Lunch tacos with blackend pork tenderloin, gouda, arugula and salsa verde.

Made at home, from leftovers.

This is probably my most successful batch of sausages. They are tom yom and cilantro flavored. I’ll post some cooked ones in the coming days.

Steak night!

Cowboy steak (that’s why it looks burnt) with mushroom gravy brown butter and miso corn, roast cumin carrots and brown rice.

Pork shoulder brased in ponzu miso jus, with a ginger, hot pepper mirepoix

Oh yeah, cheese. There’s some cheese on there too.

I roasted a chicken a couple nights ago. It was injected with soy sauce, chicken stock, and saratcha. Then stuffed with home made sausage fried rice.
